What is SYREC?

The South Yorkshire Region Excellence Centre (SYREC) exists to support care and support staff (CaSS), access quality assured education and training.
Our sector-leading programmes and services enhance the skills of the support workforce - who together comprise more than 40% of the country’s healthcare workers - helping to increase their effectiveness, create opportunities for skill development and give staff and managers the confidence to deliver a better standard of care.
Areas we cover: Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Bassetlaw
